I was getting real close to picking up a Pro-96 today, but upon looking closely at the frequency range provided on RadioShack's website, it seems the Cobb county P25 system is in the blocked range!
856.21250* 857.21250* 858.21250 859.21250 859.73750 860.98750 866.88750 67.16250
867.55000 868.03750 868.22500 868.30000 868.45000 868.96250
The ebay listing I was looking at (i know, not really relaible) says: 806-960Mhz
RadioShack says: 806-823, 894-960
Does the Pro96 pick those up or not? I seem to be getting conflicting answers on if it does. I know the UNIDEN 396T covers them, but that is $100 more than the pro-96, and it would be great if i could listen to the system on a pro96.
Thanks
EDIT: I see reports that a PRO-96 can be used to listen to frequencies in this range, but I would still like to confirm with someone here.
