You will need a second scanner to hear the activity. There may be a way to use one scanner, but its best to have two. One scanner stays on the control channel, and the other scanner is for listening. What kind of scanner are you using for providing the control channel?

Hello "daranged";

Like "TheMan" says above, you would need a second radio that supported computer control to provide audio. The simple fact is that the PRO-106 - like most radios - can only monitor one channel at a time. It can't monitor a voice call and the control channel at the same time. You could do the following:

a. program a system into the radio and have it follow the system.
b. run Unitrunker - which will enable the radio's CC data feature
c. while the radio is paused on the control channel you'll see the decoded call activity
d. while the radio is monitoring a voice call - the program's on-screen call activity ceases to be updated.

I don't recommend this because of (d) above.

A better alternative is to use two radios - one for monitoring control channel activity and the other to listen.
