Looks like Liverpool Twp is adding another repeater pair. The license only has analog emissions on it, but we already know that some other agencies around there are DMR. So be on the listen for new traffic on 155.9475.

An FCC construction notification was filed suggesting that 155.9475 is on the air. No idea what it's use is. If you are in Columbiana Co, specifically the East LIverpool/Calcutta area, you might want to give a listen to 155.9475 and try and identify what type of traffic is on it / if there is traffic on it. If you do find it to be online and can identify it's use, please submit to the database here.

I'm in Wellsville/East Liverpool area I just programmed it to my scanner I will monitor.

Thank you. I appreciate that. Looks like they have two locations for both repeaters (154.235 and 155.9475) -- one at Lacroft Station 8 and one on Francis Ave (a tower between Pleasant Heights and the hospital). So I'm guessing that both towers are probably used together for all transmissions on either of those repeaters. I'd guess you should pick either one up very well from Wellsville, and thus should pick up 155.9475 if any traffic occurs on it. Of course, who knows what they need with two separate repeaters for fire (assuming the new one is for fire). It might be a while before ya hear anything on it.

I know recently they upgraded to having computers put in their cruisers . They also swore in a new chief a few weeks back.

LBZ7 are you able to monitor Wellsville, Calcutta, and east Liverpool? I am apparently close to where you are and getting back into scanning after years of being out of the loop. I am looking for a scanner that will pick up the departments in our area.

LBZ7 are you able to monitor Wellsville, Calcutta, and east Liverpool? I am apparently close to where you are and getting back into scanning after years of being out of the loop. I am looking for a scanner that will pick up the departments in our area.

Yes and no. I can monitor Wellsville they are on DMR system. Liverpool township is still analog. East Liverpool pd and St Clair township pd are encrypted. I have two scanners I have the uniden SDS200 and SDS 100. With DMR paid upgrade. East Liverpool fire department is not encrypted on some of their squads. I would recommend the SDS or the Whistler TRX1 Whistler has all the upgrades on it for free. I hope that helps.
