Watching Toronto tower on Unitrunker 2.2.0.22 and it seems Mississauga CACC TEST talkgroup is getting a work out with grants, acknowledgments and Emergency actions on multiple units.

I noticed that yesterday as well. I wonder if they use those test groups when they load new radios onto the system. Would make sense to setup a console on that group to test everything.

Comm Center was advising officers yesterday in Zone 2 to not turn down their radios volumes all the way on the new LMRN radios like they used to do on FleetNet. If they do, they don't hear the calls.

I heard that also.
It was also good to hear Chris again. Talk about a multi tasker. Remember a few containment calls a while back when he was in Smiths Falls a few years ago taking control suggesting where officers should set up. Often has the answers, returns before the officers ask the questions. He disappeared when they first moved to Orillia, but made a brief appearance a while later but left again.

Hi All,
I am having issues hearing TG 2055 on LMRN. Tried on BCD 536HP, BCD 996P2 and a BCD325P2. Should be on the Mississauga tower. but I also tried surrounding towers. Nothing.

I hear them on Broadcastify, but nothing on the scanners. Using the latest database here on RR, all firmware up to date.
Any ideas ?

What's your set up? What software?
I have it working on a 325, 436 and SDS100.

I used Sentinel on the 536, Butel on the 996p2 and FreeScan on the 325P2. I typo'd earlier and said 436HP, but it is the 536HP
I'm in North GTA with outdoor antenna on a 40ft tower. No issues with any other reception at all.

I run Pro96com and I can see that the TG is active here

I could never get it to work on the London tower, but it worked on other towers nearby.

Turns out the London tower was not transmitting the band plan over the control channel, but the other towers were.

I suffer the same problem with the Brantford tower. It does not transmit the band plan either. I have tried entering the band plan manually, but

still cant seem to get it to work. At this point I'm open to any suggestions that may get it to work.

I'm roving around the database with Unitrunker 2.0 and all the eight towers I can receive (5,6,9,13,15,37,39,40 from Primrose to Whitby) are transmitting a Band Plan. I wonder why is this happening in the West region?

Are you saying the bandplan is populated on the bandplan tab in UT2 for you? Mine never has been.

I've previously had the bandplan lose itself randomly on the Whitby site and had to insert it myself on Trunk-Recorder. Was fine one day, not so fine the next. Extremely strange.

I use ARC-XT PRO for my 325 P2

Band Plan is 136.050 7.50 space
Lines 1-7

SYSTEM TYPE- P25 Standard
DELAY TIME 5 SECOND

P25 WAIT TIME 400

For Trunk Frequencies i have them all in

I left Control Channel open

For my 436 & SDS100 on ARC536 PRO:
Same band plan 136.050 space 7.5, Listed 1-8 on the Hamilton site.
SYSTEM TYPE-P25 Standard
Mot/P25 Bandplan
P25 WAITING 200
P25 THRESH MODE AUTO
P25 THRESH LEVEL 8

Just have the control channel on the Hamilton tower 142.35

On my multi site for this system I have all the frequencies in there. Both work.

This didn't work until the Hamilton site switched from CC 142.8 to 142.35.

Hope this helps

Yeah. If you look at the top picture, that is how it natively populates. One reason that it may work for me is that I utilize the RadioReference Premium Subscriber features that allows me to download into Unitrunker 2.0. That is the fourth icon on the left with the little green arrow. That is a personal decision only you can make.

On the bottom, is my OCD coming in to play and I re-ordered the list numerically by hitting the Lo tab.

Just checked Whitby right now and it pops up just like Mississauga as in the top picture, immediately.
