The hospital VR may be 773.08125. It is not active locally. but it's reported for Grand River Hospital in Kitchener. Hopefully a few can monitor it and see if it is active at any other facilities.

Nice find! So it looks like at least some hospitals have VRs as well. I wondered how they would handle when the crew was inside a large hospital and away from the truck.
I've wondered that too. Especially with newer steel and concrete everywhere and all around with few windows

Hospital hunting and EMS station hunting is time consuming but when you get an Alias with the matching RID it's all worth it.

Currently, I am monitoring later at night when the system is less active. I wait for a EMS station call then monitor the TG activity to identify what EMS unit was at that EMS station.

Confirmed that the only un-encrypted talkgroup on medic radios is PCOM. Had a chance to scroll through radio TG's

Did you get the TG values? if you have DSD maybe the RID and KIDs used on the TGs if they are active. The more we log the more we know. :)
Nope, Not much activity on the Ottawa site, as the radios are not even installed in the trucks yet. Currently, medics are being trained on them. I have Unitrunker running on the Ottawa site, so if I see new talkgroups showing up, I will let you guys know.

Also the repeaters that are used bt the new radios are Futurecom.

Hospitals have the MCD 5000 Deskset for the emergency departments.

Zone 2 is coming along quite quickly here in Ottawa. 4+ trucks a day are getting outfitted with new radios

I'm listening to Ottawa EMS on the current FleetNet and it appears they're doing some radio testing on TAC 6. The dispatching radio UID is 15345 on here and they seem to be testing portables, new vehicle radios, mics and emergency buttons.
It was a brief 5 or so mins of them running through the radio units and they've just signed off as of now.

During the mobile radio change-out phase, each ambulance in the Peterborough/Kawartha Lakes area went through an on-air test with the CACC, checking front/back mobile mic and each of the two portables. They are using the new radios on FleetNet when in their home area, but are capable of going on LMRN when called into Durham Region or doing transfers to Toronto etc.
