I was seeing much the same with Mississauga yesterday. And you can add Hamilton as another isolated tower, as well.

Whitby site is the busiest I've seen it this morning. Continually adding more radios and doing what seems like checks on talkgroup 696; mostly short encrypted calls.

Had an OPP unit this morning get lost in his radio, doing a test apparently. Was on OPC Common doing a radio check, then ended up on LMRN keying up a couple groups a few times, then going to another group with a few transmissions. Then went back to FleetNet saying "Sorry, was lost in the radio" Maybe a new Aux Officer have a peek at the radio or something? This was off the Sarnia and Wallaceburg LMRN towers.

Of course, I couldn't hear what he was saying on PSRN, but going off OPC Common and the FleetNet transmissions it's a good guess that Radio 700186 was his mobile radio and groups

were all keyed up with transmissions with only that radio. AES256 KEY ID 0301
Starting at 0812 and logged out at 0835
I'd bet that radio affiliated to all the other groups in between these but were just too fast for DSD+ and UT to catch them

Tagged these groups and radio id's with 70 as OPP in my logs and any groups I've seen with key id 0301

I'd bet that unless a radio stops on a talkgroup for a specific amount of time, it will not try to affiliate to that talkgroup.

Must of been channel surfing and trying whatever the normal groups they roam around. Or maybe they were some of the TAC channels trying to do a patch test with local depts or something? Who knows?
Glad I tossed OPC Common SIM 1 and SIM 11 into my desk radio in Scan and just happen to be up at 8am on a Sunday to catch that. Have to keep a ear out on the analog crap for EMS now too just in case I get lucky with them

I assume a radio needs to hold on a group for 1+ seconds before it tries to affiliate.

Yes, about 1 second-ish sounds right. This is to prevent affiliation as you dial through the channels looking for the correct one.

Also the system controllers get 'upset' when you affiliate and move off before the all the acknowledgements have completed. Some systems would see something like that as an unauthorized user attempting to access the system. Especially if it occurs on multiple TG in a short time

I started up DSD+ to check this out and I'm getting FleetNet voice comm's on 143.310 with a NAC of 2D3.
However, sitting on 142.665 brings up 6.148 as a neighbour of AD9 1.9 the same as you. In my haste to post, I didn't get site 1.40 Toronto to populate as a Failed , Isolated on the NL.

Site ID of 6148 looks more like a holder position ID rather than a actual on air site.

I programmed 143.31 to see if i could lock onto a control channel, but heard EMS voice comms as well.

Looks like King City has come back to life, after several weeks offline.

Had group 3000 with radio 300016 pop up today on the Sarnia tower. Perhaps a BMR group? It's been seen on the GTA towers also and London.
These radios have been seen on it:
GTA Radios 300027, 300050,
London Radios 300011, 300012, 300013, 300016, 300019, 300031, 300037, 300050
Sarnia 300016

When the Sarnia FleetNet tower went down a week or so ago group 16 on FleetNet was in use and radios 92, 65231, 65297 were doing checks. 65231 was the BMR tech on site.

A new connected site just appeared on the Mississauga tower..

I've been in the east end, north end, and today towards the west... and I've yet to find 143.310 as a transmit site. Really not sure where it's coming from. No other sites spitting it up as a neighbour either.

Hamilton is back up though now.

Saw some action from what I suspect are OPP and EMS units on the BMR group few days ago, on the Sarnia site.

It seems they were doing some Emergency button testing. On Friday, Unitrunker shows it as a E4 service type. Radio ID 16777213 acknowledged the Emergency button from radio 100025. Then again same thing, but radio ID 16777212 ack from radio 100025

Thursday was similar. Radio ID 16777213 ack an emergency from 707979, then a second later from 16777212 ack 707979
These guys were on group 19033 along with other radios 703724 and 730708.

I saw some similar amount of use off the Windsor site, too. Anyone else see this on their sites? Looked like some transmissions between a few units then the emergency buttons hit, few more transmissions then they logged out
