At the moment two radio techs are doing 20 counts on 143.265 (TDMA) in the clear on talkgroup 2068 for the site gateway on LMRN.
Checking on different mic's ...gooseneck, lapel etc.. (Consoles, portables,mobiles,pages)dsBuffer.bmp.png

(if you do the math 2068 is Ontario Fire Marshall Ch.1 on 33088 on FleetNet). But in this instance 2068 is the "Toronto talkgroup" and 2070 is the "Durham talkgroup" Hearing talkgroup 2075 referred to as CTOC 2

Interestingly, the endless affiliation cycle of a few radios that has been going on for quite a long time seems to have halted on the Whitby site, sort of around the time King City / Toronto reconnected to it.

Just a guess but going off the talkgroup numbers id assume they are part of the MTO Highway Maintenance guys.
At least the groups fall in line with the already confirmed ones

No idea what CTOC could be. Spent a few mins looking at different sites on the ole Google searching Ontario CTOC and Ministry of Transportation CTOC, but nothing really useful

Seeing affiliations to 2023 (West Region MTO), 2070 and 2069 which were identified yesterday.

I've also seen some Call Alerts between two RID's followed up by secure transmissions on 23xxx groups. My guess is that this would be the CACC to Hospital replacement being tested.

Sounds as if the Burlington , Hamilton, Niagara MTO units switched to PSRN at noon today.
Hearing radio checks on TG 2054

Yes I am seeing lots of activity on both 2054 and 2055 this morning on the Hamilton site as well right now only Site 40 (Toronto) is listed as a neighbour.

For anyone using the SDS series scanners, I have found setting the filter to Normal, the P25 waiting time to 200 and the P25 Threshold to Manual and a level of 8 gives about the best results so far. I also have found just having the one CC freq entered for the site speeds up the scan if you are using multiple sites.

Does anyone know, has there have been any buildouts in Eastern Ontario at all?
I have not been scanning to even notice. Where should I start?

I’ve scanned as far as the Kingston region in recent weeks and found zero new P25 sites. Did several pit stops periodically along the way.

I've seen a bunch of these off the Sarnia and Windsor sites. Unitrunker shows a RING and an ACK and DSD+ shows it as an Alert call
On UT it's the exact same thing that shows on FleetNet when CACC does the hospital alert
Seen this on a bunch of these 23xxx 24xxx groups down here too.

For anyone logging new MTO talkgroups, please take note of the Patrol. Most times they will mention it when calling in to Dispatch.

I haven't confirmed yet.. but 2054 seems like it's MTO in Burlington. I am seeing RIDs on this talkgroup in the 2001xx, 5xx, 7xx 2010xx ranges and 213992.
