If you're only looking to add particular talkgroups you can certainly do that via Sentinel but you'll need to append the whole department to a favorites list and remove what you aren't interested in. If you want greater favorites list customization without the need to remove objects you're disinterested in, consider Proscan although you'll need a Radioreference premium subscription to utilize its RR database import service. Both are well worth the $ IMHO
I did some duplicate removal after doing an update in sentinel and don't seem to be getting the hits I think I should be getting.I have the groups loaded.
Go to the target system's RR database page and have a look at the "Tag" column to ensure the applicable service types are turned on for the talkgroups you feel you're not getting. If still an issue, please reply back with system/agency specifics so we can get eyes on the database to try and help you troubleshoot further and/or post your Sentinel .hpe export as a reply on this thread (directions here) and one of my "esteemed colleagues" can take a look at your programming
If you don’t have proscan, get it. Worth the money. As mentioned above, you have to select the correct service to hear it. With proscan, it will list the CC (usually) so you can program it later.
Just enter the entire system in Sentinel and avoid whatever you don't want to listen to. No need to spend money on Pro Scan and a premium subscription for something this simple. You can also assign Quick keys to objects to toggle them on or off.
