Our local FD went digital yesterday, looking at the database it still shows FMN for the mode. Just curious how quickly this is updated.
I think this is P25 phase II, but not sure if it's encrypted. Up here in Alaska they have "ALMR" in use.
Just waiting to see if I need to retire the old pro-2096 and get something that will do p25 phase II.
Thanks!

It is updated in the database when a RR member monitors the new freq/TG/system and submits the verified information to the database. It is not updated based on FCC data or "I heard they changed" messages. Once submitted with the monitored info, including Mode, TG, NAC and WACN (for a new system) along with any other available information it depends on the database admin for the area and when he is free to make the entry, but usually a few days to a week.

See the database Submission Guidelines

Are you talking about MatSu Fire Areawide Channel? I have the information confirmed, just need to get around to submitting it, unless someone beats me to it. This is conventional P25, so it is not Phase 2/TDMA. On my devices I'm receiving it as Phase 1/FDMA.
