I'm just wanting to know if i am doing this right or if it matters how a DMR OFT is programmed, Proscan will ask you, and it will put each frequency into its own site with one channel and department I have also tried with sentinel, and it will just create one department and the rest is the sites which contain the frequency, I will add two screenshots showing what I mean the first one is proscan and the second pic is sentinel. My questions are which is best, or does it not matter? Can I put more than one frequency in a site, or is that wrong?

And what about NXDN OFT and P25 OFT are these programmed the same way as a DMR OFT?

Thank you.

It all boils down to this: If you want to set one TGID to one timeslot knowing that TGID will never appear on the opposing timeslot (for example, TGID-1 will always be on slot-1 and TGID-2 will always be on slot-2) then it's best to utilize DMR OFT so your scanner doesn't get hung up on data bursts from the opposing talkgroup. Further, If TGID-1 carries voice traffic and TGID-2 carries data only then DMR OFT can also be beneficial allowing you to set TDMA slot for TGID-1 only to slot-1. Turning off ID Search should ensure no traffic is passed from slot-2
