RP stating he can lead police to a dead body on the west side of the Platte River. Dispatch requesting officers have flashlights.

Also, dispatch requesting information blackout on radio at this time.

Just heard on the Denver police frequencies.

Requesting use of I-Call for coordination.

Did you happen to hear what area of the Platte River they are going to conduct this search ?

Nothing interesting on i-call so far and no fire or ems response yet that I've heard.

Is that anywhere near the Platte River? Also, I have 866.0125 as I-Call. Is that correct? I have never heard anything on I-Call or ITAC myself. I always thought that they were digital....

Thanks for the information, Bill.

Yes that is along the Platte River.

I-Call frequencies change just as regular comms do - there is no set frequency for I-Calls on the Denver P.S. system.

Yes, that is the I-CALL frequency for the Interagency 800 MHz channel.

However, the term "I-CALL" in the context of an EDACS system refers to a trunked individual call transmission, changing frequencies each PTT.

Not digital, analog. There seems to be at least daily use of I-TAC 1 or I-TAC 2... Keep listening.

Ah! Thanks for that, Mark. I have 866.5125 ITAC-1 & 867.0125 ITAC-2

The Scanlist only lists 866.0125 for I-Call, so that is what I have been trying....

Yup, the SCANlist lists them just the way you have em.

866.0125 I-CALL National Interagency Calling Channel
866.5125 ITAC-1 National Interagency Tactical Channel 1
867.0125 ITAC-2 National Interagency Tactical Channel 2
867.5125 ITAC-3 National Interagency Tactical Channel 3
868.0125 ITAC-4 National Interagency Tactical Channel 4

Also, to clarify, if you are listening to Denver PD in non-trunked mode (scanning through all the channels) you will hear all the EDACS "I-CALLs" too. They occur on the same frequencies as the rest of the trunked comms.
