Looking for clone of 396XT/Wiscom...

Hi, I downloaded the freescan, and bought a premium membership, nonetheless the freescan is no easier to navigate(worse even)then the 396XT manual. I'm up in Rusk Co, I am looking for the entire statewide(WISCOM)system for my radio. Anyone able to help? Thanks....

Open FreeScan then click on file, and then import choose RadioReference Trunked, and then enter your user name, and password, and once it connects choose your state, and then the system You want.

Thanks again, but the question is how do I get that data into the radio?

Click on the Icon of the scanner with the up arrow, or click on the scanner link in the toolbar, and upload programing.

You did not mention if you have a programming cable. I am not familiar with the 396XT but to get the information to your scanner you may need a cable of some type. I know you do with Radio Shack scanners. Also with WISCOM you do not need the "entire system" only the towers that are in your area and that assumes they are active. My understanding is not all areas are active at this time.
