Does anyone have the freqencies for the city maintenance crews in Texarkana, Tx?

I've tried the frequencies listed within the RadioReference database with no luck.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I'm not from the area but I was able to do a geographical search, here are some frequencies that do not appear to be in the radioreference database but could carry their traffic. I will say it's very possible they've moved to the trunked system that most public services operate on in that area, there are several public works talkgroups on the trunked system for the county and city.

KRW415 - City of Texarkana misc, doesn't provide what usage
155.085
155.82
153.755

WRVQ593 - Shows to be used for weather system alerting (aka tornado siren activation) but many times I've found the eligibility notes don't get updated, so it's very possible these could be used for other things too..
155.5275
158.9625

WQBS378 - TxDOT, probably isn't used by city crews but still could be worth a listen if that's the type of traffic you want to hear

I would check GATRRS...
As Project25 has noted, Texarkana, as well as a number of Bowie County agencies, are using GATRRS.

Texarkana Police and Fire, as well as Bowie County agencies, and some of the smaller towns dispatched by the county, are also on this system.

There are two sites listed as being in Bowie County. One in Texarkana itself, the other in New Boston.

It appears that neither site is simulcast, but you would need a scanner capable of handling P25 (digital) trunked systems in order to monitor these talkgroups. These TGIDs are noted as P25 Phase I, so there are a large number of digital scanners available that can monitor the system if they are programmed correctly. You don't need a high end scanner, such as Uniden's SDS series, to monitor this system. Your best choice will depend on what else you want to monitor other than Texarkana. If you can indicate what else you could monitor, as well as whether or not you already have some model of scanner, then we can suggest what models to look at.

I could have sworn Texarkana was simulcast.
