whatever dude, then don't try suggestions. it is not a major bug as you said, many many other users run this software trouble free 24/7 as do I. Seems like a hardware problem or settings problem on YOUR end. Good Luck.
Just as the major topic of this thread says, it does seem to run better after I turned up the ram in the JVM to 4 gigs.
Maybe people who don't know an SDR from an STD shouldn't waste internet bandwidth offering stupid suggestions.

Hey, Is there a reason that you are running SDRTrunk and TrunkRecorder both at the same time? No hate genuenly just wondering, when SDRTrunk has a record feature built in.
Is your Java updated to the latest version?
For me, who is just running SDRTrunk and not streaming or recording, it has really made a diff to have did the major suggestion of this thread & turned up the ram in the JVM to 4 gigs, it even made the audio clearer & my SDRTrunk hasn't since ran out of ram over night & crashed & closed.

In any event, I know it has a recorder but I cant listen live as the audio stops working on Sdrtrunk after a few hours. I use trunking recorder to basically listen live even though there is a slight delay that way. I am open to any suggestions. How exactly to I check my Java version? What I found on the web is not yielding any success.

My fault on the quoting one-I didn't mean to quote that part. Regardless, since your running windows 10, you can Simply do a search for "Java" in the start menu and it should pull up a "Check For Updates" option as shown:
If that fails to work, you can always simply re-download Java, as it would update it regardless. A re-installation of Java may help as well, as that would in theory tell us that the JVM may not necessarily be the problem (If we are lucky here)

Pardon if I am interprerating this incorrectly, but are you saying when you run the recorder is when you get audio issues? Or am I misunderstanding.
And also many users had probs with it stability, else why would this thread exist? ... The main suggestion of this thread of raising the ram in the JVM is a major improvement
I can run sdrtrunk and record and listen. After a few hours the audio just stops. It still records and everything else works, just cant listen live. If I use trunking recorder, and import the recordings that sdrtrunk is recording, I can listen.
As far as java, I do not seem to have an app called java nor do I have anything related to java in the environment variables. I know with older versions you had to install Java but the sdrtrunk page says,
Starting with Version 0.5.0 Alpha 2, you no longer have to install Java and compile the JMBE library. sdrtrunk now has integrated support for creating the JMBE library.

Here are a few things to try:
Saving your Playlist file someplace safe and reinstalling the latest version of SDRTrunk
DO try reinstalling your Audio Drivers via device manager, as it is completely possible that an update was pushed out that may have broken something
Ensure everything is updated and happy as far as Windows Update goes
Check your Audio Output Devices
Make sure that your computer display is not going to sleep
This is about all I can suggest. Im sorry I cant be of more help, The final thing I can offer is to maybe use OP25 or TrunkRecorder as your new main program? Let me know how it goes, and ill keep attempting to provide support any way I can.

Any luck yet, I run an air spy as well and have the exact same issues. I have to restart every 8 hours or so otherwise the control channels quit following the talk groups.
No luck. I start it up, set it to mute and let the tg's of interest record. If I am here I listen thru trunking recorder. It funny, its been running for 2 weeks and if I unmute it plays but than after a few hours it stops.
