I have rechecked , put the QK's in order and cross checked System and Dept ad the QK's match.
Did you change the order of the systems or quick key numbers? In Sentinel, you can move the systems up and down by highlighting a system and using the green arrows at the top of the page. Are the numbers not working the system numbers or quick key numbers? If you changed the quick key numbers of the systems, I need to know the new quick keys of systems not working. Please give me the revised System Name number and system quick key number of each system not working.

I really haven't changed anything since before this issue. It seems to be the system numbers. When I get home tonight I will check that and send it to you. Thanks.

OK....As far as I know, the quick key numbers or system numbers haven't been revised. The systems are FESTEVENTS System QK-12, VDOT-FERRY System QK-14, VDOT System QK-15, FEDERAL System QK-20, MARINE System QK-21, AIRCRAFT System QK-22, CHINCOTRAGUE System QK-23. These are how they are in Sentinel as copied from Butel ARC software. Thanks

I'm going to make changes to your favorites list and then attach it for you to write it to your scanner. It will be a lot easier for me to make the changes myself and then explain to you what I have done. You will then be able to look at the changes.to see how to improve your programming.

Sounds good. I have just noticed today that the scanner will not stop on active sub fleets but can be locked on them. I don't know how many systems this affects but I noticed today that Newport News had a car vs building incident and they were on TAC 2. It was very active but the scanner would not stop on it but I could manually park it on TAC 2 and listen. I don't know how long this has been going on or how many systems are involved, just noticed today. This is getting weird. I will download tonight and let you know.

Yep it does....except service types are enabled. I'm beginning to think it's a corrupted programing file/files. Thanks for the reply. We'll se what tvenger's changes in Sentinel will do.

Could be. Also check any Quick Keys.

Basically, go over the 'nothing to scan' checklist.

Update....I noticed that it was working on any dispatch service types (Law/Fire/EMS)....so I changed all the other service types to a dispatch service type (even aircraft and conventional systems). Working like a champ now. I guess for some reason it didn't recognize any of the other service types.....go figure. Thanks for all the help.

You need to go to the Profile Editor in Sentinel. Under the Service Types tab, enable the other service types. When you Write to Scanner, the other service types will be enabled. Sentinel only has the dispatch service types enabled when first installed.

Sorry for the delay. That did it. thanks. I have 5 more FL's in Butel, guess I will transfer them to Sentinel and download. So strange this happened after years of use. Anyway, thanks again.
