SDS100/SDS200: Lost on SDS200

No, I don't see anything wrong. Which mystifies me because you SHOULD be picking up KCFD. Let me load that file into my radio and see how it goes.
Okay, so I loaded your favorite file into my SDS 200, avoided all departments EXCEPT the KCFD department and was not hearing the KCFD although my 150 was picking it up. Went into the SDS 200 and deleted all sites EXCEPT for the KCMO site and now I can pick up KCFD traffic on the 200 without issue.
Then I'm out of ideas. If you are scanning JUST the KCMO simulcast and have ID Search ON then you should get all talkgroups including KCFD. To me it makes no sense that it would pick up everything on MARRS except KCFD especially since your favorite list is picking up KCFD without issues on my SDS 200.

Well, I may have figured something out. Doing this with all the avoids allows me to press CHANNEL and then I can go channel to channel. So I put it on [A6} as a random pick hoping something was there. I get bursts of 1 to 3 bars and when it hits 4 bars it says ENCRYPT below date. Does that tell you anything? If it is a distance problem, I really don't get it being up on a hill and having a 22 foot mast. And the fact I can pick up all others crystal clear, including Buchanon Co. Jail in P25 in St. Joe no problem.
If the radio thinks the channel is encrypted, that would explain why you don't hear anything. KCFD A1 through A10 are all unencrypted so maybe a hardware issue within your 200? Might be worth contacting Uniden tech support on Monday or reach out to @jasonhouk here on the forums.
Not sure how far from the city of Kansas City, MO you are, but if you are picking up MERS doing the weather brief, you should pick up KCFD without issue. As far as I can tell, all of your programming is correct so something with your SDS 200 decoding P25 signals?
Would the KCFD talkgroups be specifically on any particular sites within the MARRS system, as maybe that particular site might be avoided? Offering a suggestion as to why he's not getting KCFD, but getting everything else that isn't encrypted. (Something in the programming might've also set an "encrypted" flag, if there is one? Merely speculation, but there's GOT to be a reason why only the KCFD talkgroups are being affected, and only for this user....)
They are on the KCMO site and yes, we tried that. I had him avoid all other sites except the KCMO site with no luck. He also mentioned that when he did a channel hold on one of the KCFD channels (A6 I think), it briefly flashed "ENCY" even though it is not an encrypted channel which leads me to think there is an issue with the P25 decoding within the radio itself rather than the programming. And I tried his programming on my 200 without any issue so, not the programming.
Then this is in firmware. Check to see if you and he are at the same firmware (main & sub). If his isn't updated, that might need to be done. Otherwise, revert the firmware back to the last version that supports all his keys, and then update (reflash) to the latest. This SHOULD reset the decoding issue.
@KE0SRL The latest firmware is 1.26.01 which you should be at, but if not, then updating the firmware might fix the issue. Otherwise, this is worth a shot if you want to try it:

I totally wiped everything and started over hoping that might do it. But it did not. Except now it is not showing encrypted and I am getting 5 bars. It does say Data sometimes but still no voice. And so I thought I would check other sites. Liberty, Buckner and one other I checked is doing the same thing. So I am guessing there is a lot more doing it, even though I am hearing some stuff, manly Jackson Co Sheriff, MARCER, Independence Fire and about 10 others, but it appears it is not just KCFD. I don't know. I am at a loss.
