Low Band Questions.....

Good Morning,

Just curious as to how many monitor the low-band traffic (30-50 mhz) in East Texas from the state line, westward into Van Zandt County and southward into Jasper County?

I'm seeing a lot of listings for agencies on 37.26 and it appears to be a Texas Mutual Aid set-up for police and one fire unit in Mineola, TX, in Wood County.

Also, from 37.9 thru 37.98 near Smith County, there seems to be an abundance of Fire/Rescue agencies. I'm getting rf carriers, but no modulation, no "tones", etc.

Any and ALL help would be appreciated.

I have personally only heard 37.26 used in Lindale, TX, and that was two or three years ago. I have not heard any lowband activity for fire or police in east texas, sans polk county, for a long, long time (at least 10 years).
