So I use DarkIce on my Pi and followed all instructions on the site. For years this feed has been working fine. I found the scanner was not great for distance channels so switched to a CDM mobile. I purchased a cable online and it all works, however my audio sounds a bit over driven. The CDM doesn't allow me to change output level and i tried to follow the directions to change mic level via the USB card, but the only level it appears i can change is PCM ? When we go to MIC it doesn't allow us to change the level. Any thoughts ? For reference we are using SSH and not a monitor and keyboard on the Pi. Should I try that way ?

Also is there a way to listen locally to the Pi like with scanner cast ? I'd like to listen to the level and adjust vs 30-60 seconds later...
