Little Rock is in the process of converting to AWIN, not finalized yet. To monitor the Analog system currently you will need a scanner capable of doing the rebanded setup. To monitor in the coming months, yeah you will need an scanner capable of doing P25. Anything in the PRO-96/2096 generation, up through the BCD396/996XT generation all the way to PSR-500 PSR-800, PRO-106, PRO-18, Home Patrol 1, will work fine, and of course in the January thru March period Whistler will be releasing their new line (they bought GRE, and hired former GRE staff).

That SC230 can do current rail, air, conventional freqs fine. And yes there is still a lot of stuff in the conventional arena to monitor in AR. Everyone has not gone TRS, TRBO, or NXDN yet.
