Can anyone give us a rundown on the talkgroups and frequencies that will be used for the First LSU Game?

I'm considering brining a PRO-96 - and would like to have it programmed up nicely.....

Not sure which specific TGs will be active but the ham radio operators working the Red Cross aid stations will be using the Tiger stadium repeater. Listen to them on 145.17.
I know that some of the TAC Team officers from Hunt Correctional Center here in St Gabriel will be assisting with security. Then there's all of the LSU TGs and various BRPD, EBRSO PD and LSP talkgroups to monitor. I will be monitoring from my home to see what I can hear.
Enjoy the game.

Anyone know where the MSU vs LSU game will be played this year?... if at all possible I will be going to that game. :) And if a USM vs LSU happens in Hattiesburg,.. I will be there most assuredly!

I feel obligated to remind the thread..... I'm not naming names... but milf!

From the "Etiquette and the Forums" posting in the Administration and Help Forum:

http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=13415

5. Stay on topic. If the post topic is about "Your Favorite HF Frequencies" and you jump in and post "What is the best HF Radio?" then you are just taking the thread into the weeds. Start a new thread if it isn't on topic for the existing one.

Ok.. back on to the road for original question...

I am not sure which specific frequencies will be used, but I do know that multiple agencies will be working security and will be making things run smoothly for the game. The LSU Police, the LA State Police, Baton Rouge City Police, East Baton Rouge Parish Police, and the Louisiana Dept. of Weights and Standards will all be working traffic and security details. I know that last year I heard alot of traffic on LSU's radio system alone, so I would like to think more traffic could be heard on the other radio systems as well. Cellblock776 hit the nail on the head in his post.

Wow. The scanners and trunktrackers are really heating up. After the rain delayed the beginning of the game and maintiance personel were rushing to shopvac water and even get sandbags things finally got started. While a ESPN reporter was interviewing Shaquille O'Neal the Baton Rouge Fire Department was dispatching units to report of smoke on the south side of the stadium. It turned out to be STEAM from a leaking pipe. You could see the steam rising behind Shaq on the other side of the stadium.
Not much game related activity on the LSP trunked system but BRPD, EBRSO and LSUPD were all very active.
Here in St Gabriel the St Gabriel Police Department was busy all morning doing traffic stops along Hwy 30 as fans rushed to get to the campus. By 10am one SGPD officer said that he was starting on his 3rd ticket book and saw no end in sight.
At Halftime the Score is OSU-9, LSU-0.
