That's what I thought users would do. Unless there's something about the datastream I'm not aware of.

MultiNet encodes data with a unique system key and uses a completely different format for data and checksum. For example, the goto field uses FCC channel numbers, not local repeater numbers. I did try LTR-Analyzer on a MultiNet status channel and there was no decoding at all.

Thanks

Slicerwizard....

I have been using your new program since about 5 minutes after you released it, and have updated as available.

I must comment...........no problems with any version, a very commendable effort on your part.

Simply put, thanks for all your hard work.

:D I can say the same, I have been using the program on 10 LTR Systems and have had no problems with the program very stable.

I have been running all the versions of the program with success except when I turn the logging on.
I am successful in starting the program, but after the inputs are scanned and I press a key to start the decoding with logging, Windows gives me an error. It does create an empty log.txt as it stops.

Windows XP, Norton AV (still did it when NAV was off)

The LTR program works great.
However I had some issues writing the command to tell it to record to the log file - it wouldn't recognise any commands.
I was using version 1.1 - however the notes were up to 1.4 on the copy i downloaded

The logging bug has been fixed in version 1.5; I apologize for the delay in resolving this issue.

Is the same file being offered in the same location as the first post, when you update the version?

the file at that link is dated today so it should be the latest. I don't crash Windows XP so it is working for me now. Thanks

I just ran it on the local casino which use to be 7 channels - your program quickly identified it as a 4 channel system now. Still working brilliantly. I must send Opus (who did a lot of the early work on the decoding of LTR) an email about it - he lives about 10 miles away from me.

Great work

What sort of cable are most people using? Attenuated or not? I cannot get anything from the program except the "Overdriven" error no matter what I do. Plus I am using a stereo cable; I really don't know if my computers microphone jack is stereo or not. Are there ready made cables that will work?

In this instance you are probably right but it's possible for some controllers to not announce all channels available within the system. Some will announce one free channel and once it is used will begin announcing another which was never given the first time. It makes it a PITA.

Requirements:

- Win32 (XP or Vista)

- Windows-compatible PC sound hardware

- discriminator-tapped receiver

- 2008 Lamborghini Reventon (optional, but couldn't hurt)

I probably shouldn't ask this question, but will do so anyway... :)

Any chance of porting it to Windows 98? I'm thinking of it running on
older dedicated machines that support '98 OK but nothing above.

Looks like a great tool.

Some of the systems near me that have 4 or more channels announce 3 free channels and some of them only announce 2. (This is when only 1 channel is in use) Why is that?
