article on the subject, however I understand (I don't have a Mac) that at least some packages will work if you run VMWare or Parallels and get a copy of Windows XP.
Frankly desktops can be had pretty cheap these days. Load up on memory, and if you can, get real serial ports (newer desktops have only USB) and you're good to go. Around here in Maryland, at least, there are computer fairs and hamfests during the summer where if you do some shopping you can get a good deal. To me that's a better way to go....73 Mike
