I'm looking into the aaa chargeable batteries more so when i go on vacation with the handheld scanner to quickly change them. my question is in mAh if one goes from 1500mAh to 750mAh what is the consequences on the scanner.

In theory it will only run 1/2 as long.

In practice, Hmmm I would guess about the same, but +/- a good bit.

With 750 mAh, your scanner will run for about three hours. Why do you want less? You want MORE current-hours... 2300 mAh will run it for almost 16 hours.

Get the 2300s at a Wal Mart (cheap!) or a camera store or something... I bought some Quantaray 2800s with an ultra-fast charger. Works great.

And you want DOUBLE-A (AA), _NOT_ triple-A (AAA).

Thanks for the quick response. I'm using 2500mAh for my digital needs now. this is for the 250d going on vacation.

Someone found that a AAA 4-pack will fit in the compartment on the 250.
A AA 4-pack will not.
