DWD stands for Deutsche Wetterdienst, or the German Weather Service. This is one of the very few Baudot broadcasts on non-ham frequencies still on the air. It is reported occasionally in the US when propagation allows. It also has a NAVTEX and FAX service. Hopefully it will be back to full service soon
