I live in Manasquan/Wall Twp area.
I would advise:
155.49000 / 94.8 PL - Alpha : Manasquan PD
154.98000 / 131.8PL- Alpha : Manasquan FD/EMS DISP
154.0250 / 94.8PL - Alpha: Manasquan Fireground
154.3175/654DPL - Alpha : Manasquan Beach Ptrl.

This information is located in the "database" on this website.
Further, if you are not coming in the summer (I see you are in Montclair)
I would advise not doing beach patrol, but rather maybe listen to a surrounding town.
Your local surrounding towns would be: Wall Twp/Brielle/Belmar/ Spring Lake/ Spring Lake Heights.

Thank You! I was wondering if maybe substituting a coast guard or NOAA frequency for the fireground channel would be a good idea. Is fireground actually used or do they work off the dispatch frequency, like I've seen for most other municipalities. Thanks again.

It's used if there is any large scale incidents especially.
If you come down here and there's another hurricane, yes.
Large fire? Yes.
Everyday incidents? Yes for portable to portable traffic usually. Depending on where you are in relation to the call.
Marine VHF 16 would be a good place to start with the Marine route. 156.800 / no PL.
