Glad to hear that you got the Pro 2096 working on the system and that it sounds great also.

Frank is absolutely right that it is Mikes Pro 96 com and all his and Dr.kitko's work, that you can thank for getting the GRE radios working on these systems.

MARB frqs.

Hello. I can hear P25 activity on 138.8875 that has the same signal strength (weak where I'm at in relation to MARB) as all the other frqs. in this TRS at MARB and wonder if it's part of the system. Does anyone closer hear this and can tell if it is used at MARB? Thanks in advance.

Good morning Mick. I can confirm that is a March freq. I receive it at full strength and it also came across when listening in trunked mode. I guess it's time to run Pro96Com again on the system too see what other freqs they added.

I've ran Pro96Com for a few days and 138.8875 seems to be the only new freq added to the system.

I am going to try and do some detective work on the talkgroups. So far Pro96Com logged 20 unique talkgroups and 176 radios - thats with pretty light Pro96Com use so I am sure there are more waiting to be found.

Here are some other talkgroups I have heard active but did not verify yet

1 - Radio test... Radio test
2 - Command Post
5 - March Police (probably a tac) - talked about a code 9 situation
7 - March Ground / Base Ops (mostly users asking permission to cross taxiways/runways)
9 - Maintenance crews lots of "RATTS ##" callsigns
18 - Mobile Maintenace calling Vehicle Maintenance. Heard "Corona" callsign. Exercise involving man down with nerve agent
21 - Some guy guiding an aircraft into a parking area
35 - Radio check - "come in EOC"
36 - Talk about cargo offload being complete
48 - "this is EOC" - also heard unit calling maintenance 4
49 - In bound in 10 minutes - heard unit calling Maintenance 1

I've only heard one of the old maintennce VHF channels still being used. Everything else seems to have moved to the P25 system.

Time to run IDTracker this week and get some recordings to ID more of the TG. If anyone else has identified some talkgroups please share them.
