gezzzzz what kinda antenna are you using one of those short little race antenna's rat shack sells. I can pick up circlevilles tower at my house on the westside of columbus with the stock antenna :?

Shawn the Radio Shack 800 antenna made a HUGE difference for me. I cant even pick up a MARCS tower with the stock antenna but I can with both the radio shack and the GRE 800 antennas.

Shawn you must live then in the extreme south/southeast part of the county then. I would suggest an attic antenna or some sort of external antenna. The handheld (antenna) that you are using must be bad then I've heard good things about the stock Pro-96 these days

I have a 'Earth Wall' over near me on the SE side of Cleveland near I-271/I-480/US 422 interchange. the radio signals hit it and stop dead in their tracks.

That's why so many towers are up in that area above the 'earth wall'
