marine vhf use

I had a legally licensed vhf marine radio in my automobile in the 70's and 80's.

I can be done and was done.

How about the use of taxi frequencies in logging areas and in cowboy land?

It can be a lot of paperwork to get a marine shore license but I have one for both VHF and HF in my vehicle and a separate one for VHF and HF in my house. These are through the NTIA, not the FCC and for supporting a specific Govt group.
