Traveling to MV for the fourth time (one week stay). Would like to bring my radios with me, but have been unable to find a source that lists public safety (PD & FD) frequencies for MV (Dukes County). Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

This should help to get you started, and most of the data there should be at Radio Reference also.

Thanks much! I've been to the site & portal. I suppose my question is: How up-to-date is the info. posted for Dukes/MV?

As an aside, Scan New England is a great site...frequently seek out info. for my home state, Connecticut.

actually go and look at the data. There are confirmation dates by most lines
Time for new eyeglasses. Thanks much for your prompt and thoughtful replies.
btw: My spouse of 50 years is threatening me not to bring the radio bag with me. "We've always had such a nice time on MV, why do you want to ruin it this time with your stupid radios". Harrummph!

Be well and stay well!

As both the owner of Scan New England, and one of the DB admins here in Southern New England, I do my best to make sure the database here is accurate and reflects the accuracy over at SNE. I don't always nail it, I am human after all, but I try my best.

Have a safe trip! It's been years since I've been to MV.

go without the wife ?
at least my wife likes the radios, if i listen to the county sheriff.
she hates it when it is walmart or FRS or GMRS.
so i usually bring two radios is she did not bring "her" SDS100
two radios are OK, two wives are right out.

Well, I'm back from the Vineyard. Brought along three radios, several various antennas, rechargeable batteries, and earplugs(!). Had a great five-day (excluding ferry arrival and departure days) stay... engaged in a lot of monitoring local, state, fed, etc. My spouse tolerated it as long as I had my radios on before and after we went out and about for the day.
