I have a Uniden 996P2 and I only want central mass State Police. Unfortunately I'm hearing prison transports. Mass DOT, and other unwanted radio transmissions. I plugged in the C=PTL 1, 2, 3, 4, and the BIS and State announcements. I don't understand why I'm getting other stuff including a van service that I've locked out. Any suggestions? That bank is only dedicated the MSP on the CoMIRS system.

Have you programmed in only the talkgroups you want to hear and turned off ID Search? Did you program by software or by hand?

I programmed it with Freescan software. I did have it on ID search instead of ID scan. Rookie mistake! Thanks for your help!
