SDS100/SDS200: Matching programming from Broadcastify, but not getting the same audio

First thing first: Brand new to scanners, this is my first, but I've watched a number of how-to's and read plenty, I just can't figure this out.
Before anyone asks, squelch is set at 2, I've tried 1 and it just gets static non-stop.

I'm using the same list of frequencies as given here:
911 Polling 155.9100
Sheriff Main 159.1275
State Police Troop F 155.5350
Catskill Village PD 155.7750

Here's my favorites list in Sentinel:

On the scanner it will run through the channels (I've made sure the service types are On), and I'll have the Broadcastify app running with that channel at the same time and they pick up entirely different audio at entirely different times. There is zero overlap.
I know that it's possible that the Broadcastify app has the incorrect listed frequencies, but it feels very wrong that I pick up basically nothing and they're picking up everything, especially because the frequencies match what's on RR's database.

Any ideas? Is it possible that the default antenna that comes with the Uniden SDS200 is just *that* bad that it won't pick up frequencies within 10 miles??

Thanks!

Is the audio you are hearing "related" to what is on the stream or is it totally different users, voices and content?

It generally seems like unrelated content. I've noticed on the Broadcastify stream it labels things like "TO:2 Greene County Sheriff FROM:UNKNOWN" - The "FROM:UNKNOWN" seems to be recurring and what I seem to be missing from my audio streams.

Well. . .

The feed provider could be using an outside antenna, be very close to transmitters, have a good line of site to towers and so on. Then there could be some things where you are that are desensitizing your scanner like other electronic things.

So I can understand why you don't get something the feed provider does.

It's also possible that being a newbie (we all were at one point) and there could be a small issue with programming. I'd check to see if you get weather service to rule out a scanner reception problem. Then I'd do a scan with the full database, which may rule in/out programming issues.

Scanner apps all have an intentional delay. You will never hear audio the same time on a scanner app and a physical scanner. Antenna is important and the person running the feed could have one mounted up high outside. He could also be using the same as you be be much closer. Too many variables.

Where is the scanner? Basement, 1st floor etc? Do you have the SDS antenna extended all the way? Try moving the scanner near a window.

I can understand the delay - And can definitely understand that there's a possibility of misconfiguration on the programming. I do see it actively flipping through the same frequencies listed, which I assume means the programming is set correctly, but I really am not 100% sure. The full database with a zip code lookup picks up things (albeit horribly, most things its grabbing are 2 bars in the top right of the display and almost unintelligible), but there's so much stuff from even neighboring states when I lower the range down to 5 miles that it doesn't seem to ever really catch anything local.

Scanner is on the 1st floor of a half-sunk house. Antenna extended all the way and right up against a window that is basically almost the entire wall. It might not be in the right orientation as I have no idea where the source of the signal actually is coming from cardinally. I'm wondering if it might just be that the antenna isn't pulling its weight, but if the signal for Catskill PD is coming from Catskill (which I am assuming it does..) then I'm under 4 miles from the source, and that seems like it should definitely be there.

I'm wondering if the Broadcastify stream getting "TO:2 Greene County Sheriff FROM:UNKNOWN" showing means there's something else that's being picked up, but I have no idea what 'FROM:UNKNOWN' would be.

Thanks for the help, guys. Really appreciate it.

How are you scanning? Zip code or favorites list?

With zip code, a ton of stuff is going to overlap your location and its going to try to scan, even if you cant receive it. If you have both full database and the favorites list scanning, turn off the full database and just scan the fav list.

I'm using the favorites list posted in the original post from Sentinel - Just 4 frequencies. I used zip code temporarily just to establish that it was getting *something*.
