I think that could just be a coincidence. Maury Fire was definitely on analog yesterday.

EMS has a CAD system and sometimes check in route/on scene/transporting/clear by using it instead of the radio
Any word on when Maury is going to TACN? Not seen any new sites or TGs in the area just yet.

Your best source of information is the Department Heads Sheriff Police Chief Fire Chief EMS Director in your area and also go to City and County Meetings.
Seems Maury radio upgrades have been delayed or are taking longer than anticipated. The last news was that it was due end of 2024. There are no new TACN sites online or licensed in Maury County (which are likely to be needed for sufficient coverage).

If i'm not mistaken, Maury will be 100% encrypted when they switch to TACN. I know for a fact that LE will be, I thought everyone else is going along with it too for those that are wondering.
