MBNA Bank Trunking System, Wilmington, Delaware - Scanner Frequencies

Anyone in Newark hearing activity? I live close to the city and the CC seems to be absent. Not really surprised as they have downsized quite a bit over the years.

It appears they modified 1 frequency for conventional operation in Newark but I have not heard it.

Any additional information I am missing?

Since no one but an admin can view your link, where were they in terms of freqs? Did they reband if their system was 866-869 Mhz, perhaps?

The reason you have'nt heard anything in a long time from MBNA or more accurately Bank of America, is that as the repeaters failed at each of the sites they were never repaired or replaced. You would be lucky to hear them even if you were on campus. However, in the last few months the entire system was replaced. Currently fielded are Morotorla XPR-6580s and repeaters on each campus and are fully digital. I know they can be heard as far as Middletown. Not sure what frequencies are in use but I'm sure on a quiet Saturday or Sunday I could throw my 796d thats in use on one of the sites into a search mode and find them pretty quick.

Thank you for the info.

I am not set up with DSD, (I assume they are DTR of some type) so if you have a chance to confirm channel existence or usage then great!

MBNA was acquired by Bank of America in 2006/7/8. (it takes a long time for all the regulatory dust to settle down). But as a separate bank it is long gone.
