Our system has MCC7500 consoles, and each workstation has three speakers, select, unselect, and monitor. I'm familiar with, the functionality of select and unselect speakers, and they work as I expect them to, however, the monitor speakers don't seem to carry any audio and I can't seem to figure out how to route audio to them. What is their intended purpose?

To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:
Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.
For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

Nope. They’re connected the same way the other two are. IRR playback comes from an internal speaker inside the gateway unit.

Hmmm...monitor, as in, analog open squelch, left pedal? Is there two pedals under desk? Is there an analog resource you can test open squelch?
The are nomrally mapped thru the MCC Elite Config. Alot of times agencies set it to a mutual aid resource, or an emergency talkgroup. If this is a VPM based MCC then its plugged into the VPM. If its an 7500e it would be USB and peripheral tool is used to map its location then elite to set it. Normally your agency admin decides whati t is used for then its built into the configuration.

We have no TCS-protected analog resources. Two foot treadles but both key the PTT

Ahh, YouTube. It carries Mr. Beast talkgroups.
Then none are setup to use it. Its pretty simple. Maybe who ever setup the elite config did not think it was needed. Some agencies only use it at a supervisors desk or on certain configs. As said ealier I'd ask the admin person for your dispatch center andn ot ask on a public forum.
