McDowell County????

What's up with McDowell County, EOC hasn't been using their microwave(or the voter) since July 4th, have been dispatching rescue off EMS dispatch. Today sheriff dispatch is on 155.535 instead of 155.010 and was being retransmitted on fire. And the sheriff dispatch feed is down(I think it was provided by the sheriff)

It appears that the merger of Fire/Rescue/EMS and Marion PD dispatch is underway or complete. Dispatch is now signing as "Communications" instead of "McDowell EOC" and the voter is back on line, although it must be on leased lines rather than microwave as the new location at Marion PD cannot "see" the repeater on Grant's Mountain. Old Fort PD and Sheriff's units will continue to be dispatched by the Sheriff's Office. There has also been a change in the PL tone for the rescue squad repeater which is now reflected in the database and Old Fort Fire Dept. now has a repeater on their TAC frequency (154.130/151.2425)

All I know is sometimes I can pick up their stuff great and other times, I can't get anything.
