Medicine Hat fire?

So excuse me for this probably very obvious question, but I'm new to all this. Anyway I'm not quite sure how I figure out what I need. I need something that I can listen to Medicine Hat Fire Dept. I found the channels here on Radio Reference, but I'm not sure what to do with that info other than enter it into a scanner. So if you can tell me how to know what I need, or recommend a scanner, that'd be great. Even better if I can listen to other emergency services and aircraft.

Any P25 Phase One scanner that will pick up 867 MHz will work such as Uniden bcd396xt. You can pick up MHPS as well. Since it is a single frequency digital channel and not a trunking system, it is relatively easy to set up
