Will a HP 1 work for Mesa AZ phase 1 system?

For now, yes - If and when they upgrade to P25 Phase 2 (TDMA) no. Maybe someone here knows when that might take place.

On the BCD996P2 I get a choppy MESA PD dispatch channel for the different districts, if I move my outside antenna slightly, I lose them.
If you are able to get a clear TX from them (Mesa PD), can you post that or get back to me?
I get Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe Clear, I live next to the Mesa Riverview

I hear them clearly from my office at I-17 and Peoria with my Unication G4, but in North Glendale where my house is they are out of range. You are probably experiencing the dreaded simulcast issues that many suffer with.

If you do you won't regret it. Be sure to read up on it at the unication forum first so that you understand the pluses and minuses. I love mine, finally clear simulcast!

Just be aware, the Unication G4/G5 doesn't yet have Phase II capability. It's supposed to be coming soon.

True, but they are taking pre-orders at Ray's pagers for phase 2 versions right now, March delivery, same pricing as phase 1 units.
