Meshcore Network - Looking for Interest

Hello, all. I’m looking for people interested in MeshCore who would be willing to help build a network of users and repeaters. There are tons of YouTube videos out there if you are unfamiliar. It’s fun from a radio experimentation standpoint and can be an emergency comms tool as it’s radio only messaging. The devices are easy to build and can incorporate 3D printing and other factors. It’s a growing community and there’s not much going here yet but I’d love to get something going. If you are interested or you already are a user let me know!

The messages are encrypted and people can certainly use it in the dark on individual devices but repeaters will be discoverable by their nature when you sent a message or advert and there just aren’t really much for repeaters around. Many people do also choose to add them to the map which is voluntary but in areas with well built networks they have a community approach and share where repeaters are to link people.

It looks like there are more people on Meshtastic, than Meshcore, but neither of them have a strong footprint across the entirety of the state.

You are correct. MeshCore is newer and is configured differently that has prevented message delivery issues that Meshtastic has had but neither are big around here so I was hoping to find some interested in building a network around here.
