Metro Net

I discovered the patch on the Denver PD TRS which allows you to hear the clearly digital Metro Net talkgroup (1697), however, on the Statewide system the Metro Net talkgroup (3997) does not have any conversation. I try to switch back and forth on my Pro 96 quickly when I hear them talking on the Denver system. I even open the bank to allow all talkgroups, but never hear the same conversation. Anybody have a clue?

I get the same response here. I thought it was just me not picking it up on the DTRS. Kind of strange.

There are TG's that are primarily console to console only.

Most likely the patch on the Denver EDACS system is coming directly off of one of their consoles. Unless someone is using a radio to access the TG on DTRS you will not hear it over the air and you would need to be on the tower they are affiliated with in this scenario.

Best bet is to monitor the TG on the Denver EDACS system if it is in fact a full time patch.

Exactly Phil and also realize folks Metro Net and these patches are not used much so your much better off monitoring the individual systems (EDACS and DTRS) if you want to catch the action rather than waiting to catch a patch or even traffic on cleer.
