Another full list with updates as of a moment ago with 25 new additions - the 12880 TGID appeared earlier today with 2 hits but I couldn't confirm any encryption:

Hey br0adband,
How do you get a list of all the TGid's on a system? Does the system announce all available TGid's when you affiliate or something?

Thanks,

Unitrunker... ;)

I just have an RTL stick dedicated to monitoring the LVMPD primary CC and take note of new TGIDs when they appear that aren't part of the already identified ones here in the RR database. On occasion I'll spend some time monitoring (live) using OP25 and take note of them whenever I hear the encrypted audio and mark the TGID as encrypted. I'm sure that the vast majority of that list is actually encrypted comms (that's a safe bet) but I only consider a TGID as actually encrypted when I actually hear that encrypted garbled audio from OP25.

If you take the list above (the last posted one I just made) and then "merge" that with the current LVMPD list here (this is the sorted list at this link):

http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=7951&opt=all_tg#tgs

then you'd see about 184 TGIDs on this system as of today (89 identified, 95 unidentified) and it appears they're still adding TGIDs as required - that 12880 one was unexpected so that could just be a one-shot or hints of something more.

Aah gotcha,

So to understand, you only know they exist because they performed a PTT on that TGId while you were monitoring that sites CC?

What do you consider the LVMPD primary CC? LVMPD's Simulcast CC?

That info is on the LVMPD database page:

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Trunking System, Las Vegas, Nevada - Scanner Frequencies

The various sites on the system traditionally have a primary CC (denoted in red) and one or more secondary CCs (denoted in blue) as needed. For myself I sit on the simulcast CC at 771.98125 MHz with Unitrunker and haven't had many issues. I may not be getting all the possible transmissions, however, because Unitrunker only lists 174 groups so far that have been detected since I started this little experiment about a month ago to hunt out the TGIDs that haven't been directly identified as to their purpose but have had some activity on them at some point in time.

Of those 174 that I have logged so far with this particular setup maybe a little over half correspond to the known ones in the RR database up to this point so about 90-100 of them (that Unitrunker has detected a hit on and I've labeled with the known TGID info).

I had Unitruker running for the past few months and found all the 103xx TG's were encrypted and mostly used by Metro Radio ID's Not sure what the channels are ?
TG 65536 was ALL CALL or Fleet

as for 250001 to 250004 sounded and showed as a patch while I was monitoring

Few more adds but I'll just provide them instead of the entire list from the last post:
