I am seeing TG 242 which is listed as GO Rail Secure patched to TG 271 which is not listed in the DB so not sure what this is. This is on the Toronto site.

I've also seen 272 which has been a combination of clear P2 and ENC. I think 242 is some sort of Commuter Train Dispatch secure channel since I've seen the locomotive RID's communicate back and forth with the NOC

These are my logs from DSD+ for TG 271

P25, BEE00.1AC, 271, 223507, 50, Normal, 2, 2025/05/17 17:42, ""
P25, BEE00.1AC, 271, 263043, 50, Normal, 43, 2025/05/17 21:26, ""

The RID range of 235xxx below and above RID 223507 are RID's used on the Willowbrook Yard TG of 245 but not sure about the other RID as I haven't seen anything close to the RID.

It might be a talkgroup for the Special Constables to either speak to a train crew, or to Commuter Central in private. It has the same KeyID as the 3xx Enforcement talkgroups (1001) so that would lead me to believe they are related. I just saw a radio switch from the Barrie TG to TG 271 so that would make sense.

I have not seen any TSO related RID's on that talk group. However, that is not to say that they don't monitor that talkgroup or have access to it

I am seeing more activity on the 27x TG's on the West site. Are the 3 digit RID's consoles? As I see other 3 digit RID's only on the other rail side talkgroups as well.

271 RID 606 & 641 + 3 other RID's
278 RID 101, 248, 352, 561 + 7 other RID's all in the 1013xxx/1014xxx range.

271 is encrypted and 278 from what I can tell is not and was just quite active not too long ago. I am also seeing a few registrations/affiliations on TG 273, 275 and 276 & 277.

Possibility of ticket checkers? this would kind of match the patching to train TGs.

Train related ID's match the piece of equipment they're attached to I believe - 606, 641, 561 are locomotives, with 248, 352 being cabs. The 101 is unfamiliar though and not on the current roster list.

I've seen 272 before. I think it's similar to 242. Some sort of secure rail dispatch channel. The 1013xx, 1014xx RID's your seeing are radio technician ID's I have heard radio tech's on it the past with a mixture of clear and encrypted transmissions conducting testing.
