MFJ 1026 with SDR rsp2

Hi,

I'm using a SDR RSP2 with my computer, and was wandering if the MJF 1026 would be helpful for noise cancelling ?

Basically, MFJ 1026 always seem to be associated with ''transceivers'', not ''receivers''. Personnaly, I'm just into receiving, and nothing else. So......what is this for ? : transmitting, receiving, or both ?

The MFJ-1026 can certainly be used for reception only. Perhaps you could describe your current antenna system to us, along with the bands you're interested in listening to. That'll help us provide more targeted answers for you.

Thanks for your awnser.
I have two antennas : one simple longwire, and the other one is a longwire with a 9 :1 Balun.
For the meter bands, well....I'd say from 472 Khz to 30000 Khz.
