Going over the KC-46's of the 305th AMW, there are 5 KC-46's operating from Al Udeid Air Base and I believed that would be the 340th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron.

21-46090, AE63C6
21-46088, AE63C4
20-46080, AE63BC
20-46073, AE63B5
15-46069, AE63B1

21-46087, AE63C3 just returned from Al Udeid Air Base on 05/16/25

A question.....

How much of the VHF (above the limit of air band) is FM? And is the PL of 150. (151.4) usually activated?

I'm assuming you are asking how much of the VHF (above the limit of air band) is used for aircraft FM, since all the VHF band above the air band is usually FM, however some military will use it as AM above the air band. There is no telling when you are dealing with the military. As for PL, typically there is none, however it could be anything.

A couple examples are below (taken from RR database);

Thanks. I was curious as I've heard virtually nothing on the low band 40mhz helo freqs and I've seen both AM and FM listed for VHF High.

Back on that subject I watched 60 minutes tonight and they had founder Palmer Lucky of that
Mil tech company Anduril based in California.
The Aussies have signed up with them for AI remote Subs and Loyal Wingman jet drones.

Interesting segment.. They also make some fantastic Mil drones for US offense and defense.
He mentioned the top 5 legacy US Defense Contractors are in the business for staying in business.

Maybe refurbishing old B-52's is not such a great idea.. Maybe ready my mid 2030's? Heck even Elon Musk thinks F-35's are a waste of money.
I think we are in a soon new age of AI Mil aircraft that we can't even see yet.. We have already seen some of that in the Ukraine war where
cheap drones take out expensive manned tanks and ships... Those are just the beginning cheapies.
Lots of fast changes coming..
Seems the new AI drone fighters are working their way thru Dod trial tests.. Anduril is one of them.
Maybe not a good idea for local CAP duty though.
Someday picture an AI drone on CAP duty warning a local Cessa-172 with that robotic Battlestar Cylon voice..
"You have violated a restricted TFR-Leave now or be destroyed!" ,🤣🤣
Lets keep the manned fighters on CAP duty 😊

0750- Navy HX830 (SH-60 HX-21) showing on ADS-B. Potomac (124.55) is calling him Doubledown 830. Then w/DOV A/D (132.425)
Ron...that helo may be part of the planned flyover in NYC later this morning. I had a navy helo fly into Teterboro last night with a similar "VV" callsign. Probably using Teterboro for staging.
