I thought the same thing. Wonder if those bases will support whatever will eventually come east with the current tankers preposition to points down east.

Most seem to be taking Southern Atl track towards Spain and the Med..
Too far South for the UK.Maybe splitting them up overseas? RAF Mildenhall couldn't handle that many KC-135's
Imagine Germany will be stage stop as well.

Sure looks like nice weather and scenery there.

Is this for Atlantic Trident 25 or repositioning because of higher tensions in Middle East?
Late to the party it is now 26 tankers
Only time will tell, but 26 is a lot of tankers for an exercise.

No they don't send 20+ tankers for a mainly Finland exercise.. This is real backup deal.
Most are tracking into Southern Europe.I have been watching ADSB and milcoms for a long time and have never seen
this many tankers launch almost at once Eastbound.. They are setting up down range for sure.
Also none of the East Coast KC-46's have launched yet so expect them to get involved sooner or later if needed
with the heavy hardware.
