DC CAP starting soon as just heard NOBLE-11 on Potomac 350.250 asking about tanker TABOO-11.
Parade doesn't start till 6PM local. Weather may hold out but they should have started it earlier.
1705 local getting weak coms on 228.900 A?A now say push 350.250 on Com-1 but now hearing NOBLE-11 on DC NORAD "Bigfoot" 139.700
Now heard NOBLE say push 228.900 talking with Bigfoot.
1716 local NOBLE's back on Pot 350.250.
1723 TABOO-11 on Potomac Guard Dog 135.525
1732 NOBLE-11 looking for Taboo on boom freq 231.625

Based on disgruntled comments I'm seeing on Facebook, it looks like the Ocean City show today has been cancelled. I almost went down this morning, but had missed the news that it was starting early at 11:30. I had the car loaded with camera gear when I found out, but at that point I felt like I wouldn't get there in time for the F/A-18s. So I never departed - fortunately!

Yeah Frank every year I get offers from OC show about prebuying nice airshow seats etc but the weather in June
in OC is dicey every year.Have seen cold June ocean water and hazy sun produce a coastal fog/haze and also rain outs.
Seen a couple good shows but not gambling away money on that show.. I don't think they do refunds.

I think they're on 127.325, heard someone there mention working on their timing.

Sounds like time on target is 1841.

T-Birds have this weekend off according to their show schedule.Next weekend the 21st they do Dayton Ohio airshow.

Looks like the T-Birds snuck into Langley today.. Maybe making surprise OC airshow joint flyover with the Blue Angels?
or just a practice week at Langley?

Seems the Thunderbirds came out here for the Army Birthday parade but guess was scratched due to
the weather. Guess they will hang around till Monday or just wait at Langley for next show in Toledo Ohio.

The parade will be taking place at 3:30 p.m. PST.

Overall I thought was a great parade of Army gear and troops and the rain held off.

That is a Canforce tanker under NORAD control running CAP fighter patrols over the Calgary area.
Looks like HOSER-01 is about to be relieved by US KC-135 #62-3554 out of Fairchild AFB but arrived Fairchild yesterday
as PETRO-13 from MacDill AFB.

Thought Italians would stop at Pease but seem to be trucking on down the Coast so far.
There is another Italian C-130 4681 also in trail.. Maybe working way eventually to Nellis perhaps.
Maybe get a Dover stop?

Starting to look like today's edition of the Ocean City (MD) Air Show could be cancelled as well. First they moved the start time up, then pushed it back supposedly to give more time for the ceiling to expand. But some folks are reporting conditions are worsening. This weekend murk has really been playing havoc with air shows this month.
