1000- Some DC ANG F-16s up somewhere. A2A is 238.175. From routing chat looks like they're heading for W107. Hearing shot xmisions on ZNY Ship Bottom (307.275) & Giantkiller (255.0)

1010- Another flt of DC ANG F-16s up. A2A is 143.6.
Rgr Ron the usual WILD-11 and ANGRY-21 practice flights..
WILD-11 flight is always first then followed by ANGRY-21.. Sure are consistent on their offshore callsigns :)

A New Mexico 58th SOW MC-130J #17-5875 departing Harrisburg westbound on CP 395.100.
Missed callsign but usually use STALK ## callsign.

The U.S. Military will conduct a funeral flyover in the National Capital Region over Arlington National Cemetery today at approximately 11:20AM.
I see Arlington service starting at 10:45 local for a 4 Star long retired General who was once Vice Commander at McGuire long ago.
Smart fellow: He received master of science degrees in aeronautical and astronautical engineering, and instrumentation engineering from the University of Michigan in 1960.
Haven't heard any milcoms down that way yet except the DC ANG guys on way back in to Andrews.
Lot of clouds and perhaps light snow down that way so maybe cancelled?

Clear, strong unknown comms on 238.85 about 25 minutes ago(about 12:20-22 local) , Torch80 and 55(C-130s) and Maine85(KC-135)were passing through and within range, anyone id who it was on this freq?
I have that freq as an A2A for the NH ANG (Pease) KC-46s. But, if I had to guess, I'd put my money on the Torches.

OCEAN 82 landing Barnes (KBAF). CA ANG C-130? New one on me. Maybe a repatriation flight of illegal French Canadians?
Harder to track/find with just a callsign, helps to have reg no or icao, but highly unlikely deportation flight as all of them have used callsign RCHxxx.

Is ADSB falling out of favor? Might it become a thing of the past?

That Owners group is always complaining about something.. They are never happy about anything flying.

See DC has modified their permanent TFR for Potomac River area..
Last paragraph basically says no more choppers over the Potomac unless an emergency and No Civy fixed wings
or choppers over Potomac while Mil or Presidential or Law aircraft are running.Assume this is result of that chopper plane collison.

Thanks for linking to the NOTAM.

So once again.... No training flights allowed for the USCG helicopters stationed there?
(Assuming it's in the boundary based on the NOTAM, the sectional is a little too small for me to read).

Thanks
Joel
