Looks like the tanker is headed to Portsmouth, and 16 to Bangor judging by ADSB. Any guesses why they would separate and not both go to Bangor or Ports together?

F-16 pilots do multiple stopovers. Sometimes F-15E's and F-16's take a break at Bangor before they continue east (Lajes is full of KC-135's right now), the MRTT's wanted to take fuel from Portsmouth because of the fuel capacities at Portsmouth, I assume they have more fuel than Bangor. There could also be maintenance, structure repairs on the acft. causing the seperation.

I also think @Dutchmil has the best answer regarding your question.

In that case, looks like a new freq for HMH-772.
Maybe they were just using the pre programmed radio from the last USMC New River unit to McGuire.
Will keep ear out. Maybe Mcguire 772 guys will get these. They have some oldies now for sure.

22AW KC-135 straggler #63-7995 departed Dover westbound assume back to Kansas.
The B-2's get the glory but the tankers got them over and back. They deserve some recognition.
News says Potus will go to NATO meeting tomorrow.

OT glad to see a cease fire coming.. B-2's and many Tomahawks etc I think had hand in that.
Never forget our Navy :)

Anyone get local wx radar for Marylnd Balt area? Seems many sights are blank but some showing
heavy rain.. Must be heat fouling up stuff.NOAA NWS radar seems down getting blank pages but Nexrad showing lots of stuff.
Radar shows a massive cell between me and Baltimore City. I looked out my back door and it is clear as a bell outside no thunder or flashes to the west towards the city.

Guess that is just how hot it is and being picked up on radar?

I don't know, when the Columbia broke up, the NEXRAD weather radars tapes were used to try and find where some debris may have landed. The Radars are good enough to tell the difference between blowing sand and blowing dust.

Maybe something else is going on.

Thanks

Yeah went on Ch 6 Philly and their main radar screen shows nothing but on
some of their other regional radar pics show massive rain storms yet not one drop of rain here in NE Maryland.
Maybe the heat has jammed up some area National wx service radars. I know they use radar feeds from Dover AFB etc for some of their pics.
South Jersey and Delaware look a mess.🤣

If they can work in Phoenix, they should be able to work in Balimore when it's hot (admittadly differernt humity levels), on the other hand Florida has high heat and humidity and I've never heard of a problem.

Maybe a local equipment problem? or a feed problem to some locations.

Thanks
Joel

Two Netherlands A332's eastbound. MMF31 T-062 over eastern NY with at least 1 F16 BAF431 FA-104. Probably going to Bangor.
MMF33 is still over northeast PA.

They are dragging some Belgian Air Force F-16s back to Europe. Six of them departed from Kleine Brogel airbase
as BAF 211-213 and BAF 221-223 to Bangor, May 7th. They departed to Luke AFB the next day.

And Mark is right, the Dutch Air Force is no longer flying the F-16.
The Belgian Air Force however is, as they haven't received any of their new F-35s yet.

Problem seems to be with some of the Nexrad radar feeds.
Even now on ADSB you have option of NOAA radar or Nexrad radar buttons
Had to turn off Nexrad option and it all goes away.NOAA feed seems normal.
Judging by map seems the Dover Nexrad feed is causing all the problems.

FLAM-11,12 two KC-135's at Pease prob getting ready for the E-4B A/R this morning

When I posted AF1 Ron; I checked to see if anyone else posted; I see you edited about AF1 same time I posted.
I liked your post better with more detail than mine!!!
