Took a little day trip down to Seymour Johnson yesterday. Wasn't as disciplined with the radios as I planned to be, but here are a few items:
Starting with 1431-1555L:
348.3 - looks like 334 FS A/A
306.275 - A/A - couldn't determine the squadron, although almost all planes on this shift were 334 FS
311.575 - signal-stalker hit on my PSR600. One of the TRX-1's recorded a little bit of traffic, but couldn't ID
317.900 - strong, and appeared to be A/A
346.700 - sounded like A/A
Most flights on this shift were 334 FS, and a fair amount of pre-flight traffic on 260.1 with Squadron front desk
225.45 - not sure who, but signal was very strong
311.25 - not sure what unit, but planes were told to go to 'descrete' 303.525 for a 'radio drill'. It went on quite a long time, and sounded like they were going thru preflight radio procedures where the flight leader relays clearance info to other members, etc. Hopefully got some recordings. (this came up as I was leaving for a meal break)

Second visit: 1744-1830L -
388.85 - BACKY 24 & 35 KC46's preparing to depart. A LUCKY KC46 departed after them, but unknown if it used this freq.
346.7 - A fair amount of traffic. Couldn't be sure of the unit. I think there were F15's arriving with both Red and Yellow fins
313.95 - couldn't tell. May have also been active during the first visit.

12:31 PM local VIPER-11 with ZNY at 17k climbing up to 24k 323.300>ZNY 270.300.
A/C F-16's I assume headed North.

1317 local CAPX-349 #165349 C-130T calling "VR-64 Maint Control" at McGuire on 273.000 looks back inbound.

VIPER-11 guys back inbound A/C ZDC 363.00>ZDC Sea Isle 285.400 A/A 298.600.
They cancel IFR from Sea Isle and say will go back up the Coast.

260.1 should be Eagle Ops/Front Desk, and I have heard 313.95 and have it in the scanner for A-A but unknown who.

Thank you for the 9 new freqs.

Not sure if 255.45 was local (although it was strong), but I see someone heard a 'Tate' flight of KC46's talking on the Green Bank RCO the same day. Am thinking they could've been in range for me at the time.

Forgot about old Fort Monmouth. I remember them now closing up cause of BRAC and
some of its employees who wanted to stay transferred to Aberdeen APG in Maryland..
Soon to be Hollwood East?
Ft Monmouth was a major communications hub back in the day. I lived about 4 or 5 miles north as a kid. Lots of 36, 38 & 40 mhz communications out of there. The base police and fire were on 165 mhz.

Skydivers I assume.. Always hearing heads up on that unicom 122.800."Skydivers over Cross Keys" local alert by pilots.
They seem to have a large jump school over there.

1950 local Nighthawk 1,2 and 8 all doing fuel check offs on 143.875 FM.
Assume headed back to the barn.. Had what sounded like noisy choppers near me headed south at the time
but nothing on ADSB.

N716MM Cessna 208

I know it is way too early to call but wiki says normal pax load for C-208 is 9 pax.
Course stripped for para duties maybe can get more aboard.. Sure sounds like a heavy duty flight.
Seems lately a lot of aviation accidents are happening with aircraft big and small maxed out in total weight loads
like the recent Air India accident.. Possible owners/operators are pushing the load limits too often?
Most Americans like myself aint getting any lighter these days :)
