On the main database page, it shows 16 frequencies, ALL in red. It is listed as ' Simulcast ', yet only 1 site is listed? If you right click on the callsign ( WQRE800 ), and open a new page, it shows only 8 frequencies ( each listed twice? ). The 8 frequencies agree with the FCC ULS listing. Why are there an additional 8 freqs. listed? ALSO, it is interesting to note that if I program the BCD996P2 as a P25 STANDARD system, I see it stop on some talkgroups, some with audio. If I program it as a P25 one freq trunk, I see it stop on other talkgroups, that I did not see as a P25 standard system. I'm in east Old Bridge. If anyone is successful listening to this system, how do you have it set up? I'm beginning to see that the BCD996P2 has issues receiving sites with CQPSK modulation. I AM in close proximity to some cellsites that are probably part of my issues here.

My FD uses this system, I have it set up on a unication G5 to monitor our calls and a good part of the rest of the system. I have each listed frequency programmed in to the setup for this system. I was told that the 800 frequencies are not really used unless the system is super busy. Each frequency pair can carry 4 simultaneous conversations I believe in phase 2 so I think it would be very hard to busy out the system on the 700. I had a regular uniden scanner when we first went to the system and could never get the CC to stay locked and when I could would barely get a clear conversation. Was told that the older (pretty much anything other than the SDS line) did horrible on systems with LSM

That's because not all FCC licenses are listed, there are quite a few more for both 700 and 800. I'll submit them in a few minutes for the NJ admins to add.

Also it is only one “site” that is simulcast through multiple towers. Sites and towers are not synonymous.

So are there actually more freq than the ones listed that the system actually uses
No. There are more licenses than just the one currently listed. That is why the OP is confused as to why only one site shows up on the FCC license, and only 8 frequencies show up on the license. He's not looking at the full picture. This system is covered under eight licenses, however only one is listed in the RRDB.
