Missing and Found!

Last night the SLC PD activated my group for a search for a 82 year old female who was lost. I had a fully active search center running at 1930hrs. SLC Mobile Watch was also active. There was activity on the AC33 system on the PD Liberty channel as well as Mobile Watch on APB. At 2030 we received the best news.... The missing person was located... BY ONE OF OUR SEARCHERS!! Anyways wanted to pass this along as it is very exciting for me, and my group. Also some of you possibly heard some of the action last night.

That is great news, Viper. How about a rundown on how/where the person was located. I was aware of the missing person report, but unfortunately did not have my scanners running during the evening.

Well the lady was finally spotted on the corner of 900 e. 500 s. Luckily we had a very good description and information that she traveled downhill which led me to start groups more south. This was one of those where we may not have been involved, but with the weather getting nasty all resources were brought up to speed.
